Design and Build
We can help with the design structure of your modular furniture. Please call Derek on the store number above for instance assistance and advice regarding both the Lazzari and Foppapedretti brands. We also offer a service where we can build your furniture free of charge to be collected at our store.. This service will save you time and the stress of dealing with flat-pack furniture.
This service applies to orders over £500. Please check with the store for further details.
All orders can be made ready and prepared for dispatched within 24 hours of receiving your order – the standard delivery from our couriers is 3 to 4 working days, for larger orders we may confirm by phone if this is convenient for you and if not arrange a suitable date for a delivery. Deliveries are conducted by 2 of the best courier companies in the market, MyHermes for packaged orders up to 10kg and UPS for the heavier consignments. We have found over a number of many years that these companies are the most reliant and efficient in both their handling and tracking to provide and insure a safe passage of your order to your home. If you prefer your delivery to be made by another company please do let us know and we can investigate if there is a service for your area, please note this may result in a small surcharge if applicable and charged to us.
If you think that your order might be damaged.
a) Please refuse your delivery and do not sign.
b) Try to keep the courier on site whilst you call 01252 733476. This will enable us to make an informed decision if the package should remain with you or be retained and returned to us by the courier for a replacement.
c) Rest assured that Colours.ltd will never try to avoid responsibility and our first priority is to make sure our customers are happy with their purchase, so don’t worry..
If the packaging of your delivery is in any way damaged or appears to have been tampered with please either refuse the item or sign for the package marking it as damaged. A signed delivery can be an acceptance that you are happy to receive the package in its present state and we then have no redress with the couriers for compensation. We will of course endeavour to rectify any problems with the couriers on your behalf. Your statutory rights are not affected by this. Damaged or incorrect items or deliveries must be reported to us within 14 days from receiving your purchase.
If your items are not in stock we will add it to our next order – approximate delivery time is 4 weeks from Italy, although specialized orders may take a little longer. Heavier items such as the Foppapedretti changing tables, wardrobes and the Lazzari V12 may incur a carriage surcharge if delivery is to be made outside our own delivery service areas in the South East and we have to use a third-party courier company who specializes with these heavier weights. Highlands and Islands will also incur a surcharge to cover the excess charge made to us by our couriers.
Split orders for the furniture modules and larger storage containers may require a further carriage charge. This has had to be introduced due to the nature and weight of these items that require specialist packaging and carriage costs. The breakdown is set out below.
If a delivery is either lost, damaged or stolen while in transit the liability is on Colours.ltd to refund or exchange upon your request. If the delivery has been signed for and we can provide proof of delivery to your address then this consents to agreeing its safe delivery and our liability and completion of sale is satisfied and our responsibility to supply your order has been met. No claim can be made against us after signing, unless it is subsequently found to be damaged by the courier or there is manufacturer damage to these item/s. If a delivery is either returned to us due to incorrect address, unable to delivery because no one is home after a number of attempts or the delivery was refused then we can re-send but the responsibility is upon the recipient to pay the new delivery costs. We suggest you use our UPS access to access points service which allows you to collect a delivery from one of their local pick-up points.

We appreciate that larger modular systems can be expensive. So at Colours we offer a discount break for orders over £2000. A discount of 5% will be deducted from an order at this level. Discounts can not be applied to build service.

Colours.ltd has delivered Lazzari and Foppapedretti furniture all over the World, and over the years, we have managed to build up a reliable distribution network. If you would like some of our furniture delivered outside of the UK you can choose your country of destination at the shopping cart and our advanced web-site technology will automatically calculate the amount of transit to be charged. This is calculated on a Zone basis and also depends upon the order value of your transaction. We will cover a certain percentage of this cost to help encourage trade.

If you are not totally satisfied with the quality of these goods for any reason, return them within 14 days and we’ll exchange them or refund your money if they are at fault. This applies to furniture that have remained in their packaging. We can only accept items that have not been used or altered. Furniture that may have been damaged in transit will require an images of the damages and the packaging to be forwarded to Colours.ltd so we can analysis the quickest options in order to resolve this problem for you. Please notify us of any damages within 7 days of receipt, we are unable to address damage issues after this period. During the Christmas season, we will extend the returns policy if the products you would like to return were a gift. We may require you to complete a returns/claims/loss form supported by images to ascertain the nature and best procedure to deal with claims of transit damages,manufacturing faults or courier fault. For our overseas customers it may be possible to arrange delivery of replacement parts for faulty or transit damaged items. We will endeavor to arrange compensation for items that are slightly damaged when returning or replacing is not be an option due to transit costs and items removed from their packaging.
Returning goods – UK customers
Please request a returns form by e-mail for you to complete and to enclose with your returning item/s. Also this form can be used if you wish to change any items and have exchanged and returned back to your delivery address. We recommend you use the courier company ‘Parcel 2 go’ and the MyHermes, DPD or UPS options services to perform your return. There is 14 day returns period. Please let us know if you require further time. Returning items should be sent to:

We recommend that you return items via registered mail or Parcel2Go. Please ensure you have sufficient insurance cover especially when returning valuable products. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transport. Please note that return postage will not be refunded unless the fault is wholly ours and this will be determined on receipt of said returns. We can not accept returned items of furniture that have been constructed (in part or whole) and drilled to your specific design. Please be sure you are happy with the design of your modular structure before we build as once they are constructed it is difficult to alter when completed.
We can not accept returned items of furniture that have been built or altered. Should you be sent a faulty item, we will of course exchange or reimburse you fully including the return postage.
